Construction, fire watch, events and executive protection
Protection for a project, an event or a person, for one night or for months.

Construction site security
Keep your tools, materials and schedule safe from theft, vandalism and trespassers.
Construction sites are prime targets for theft of copper, tools and heavy equipment, and every incident can delay your schedule. Shepherd combines on-site officers, gate control and mobile patrols to keep your site secure after hours and on weekends.
We document deliveries, contractor access and site conditions, giving project managers a clear record of what happened on site each night.
What's included
- After-hours and weekend site officers
- Gate and contractor access control
- Delivery and equipment logging
- Mobile patrols for multiple sites
- Fire watch during hot work or impairments
- Mobile surveillance monitoring
- Nightly reports with photos
Questions
Can you cover more than one job site?
Yes. Many developers combine an officer at their highest-risk site with mobile patrols at others, which keeps costs down while covering every location.
Do you offer fire watch on construction sites?
Yes. We provide trained fire watch officers for hot work and for periods when fire protection systems are not yet active or are impaired.
Fire watch services
When your alarm or sprinklers are down, our officers keep watch so your building can stay open.
When a fire alarm or sprinkler system is out of service, or during hot work such as welding, your local fire authority may require a fire watch until the system is restored. A fire watch officer continuously patrols the affected areas, looks for signs of fire and makes sure people can get out safely.
Shepherd fire watch officers keep detailed, time-stamped logs of every round, which you can share with your fire marshal, insurer or property manager.
What's included
- Continuous patrols of affected areas
- Time-stamped fire watch logs
- Checks of exits, extinguishers and hazards
- Immediate notification of the fire department if needed
- Help with occupant evacuation
- Hot work fire watch
- Short-notice and 24/7 coverage
Questions
When is a fire watch required?
Typically when fire alarm or sprinkler systems are impaired, or during hot work. Your local fire authority decides the specific requirements for your building, so check with them first.
How fast can you start?
Fire watch is often needed with little warning. Call our 24/7 dispatch at (424) 484-3890 and we will confirm availability right away.

How far in advance should I book?

How many officers will my event need?
It depends on attendance, venue layout, alcohol service and risk level. We recommend staffing after reviewing your event details.
